Does every fire extinguisher comes with bomba license?

• Yes. The license can be obtained by licensed contractor like us who are registered with Bomba's eFEIS system.​

How often do I need to renew the Bomba license for fire extinguisher?

• Bomba license must be renewed yearly.​

How often do the fire extinguisher need servicing?

• If the fire extinguisher has been used at your facility, you can send it to us for servicing. If you did not use the fire extinguisher at all, it will still need to be serviced & maintained yearly, this can be done when it's time to renew the Bomba license.​

Can I relocate the fire extinguisher from registered premises?

• Unfortunately, no. Once a fire extinguisher is registered in the eFEIS system, you are not allowed to relocate the fire extinguisher or amend the registered address of the fire extinguisher.​

Is Fire Certificate (FC) mandatory for business premises?

• Yes, FC is mandatory in Malaysia for certain types of buildings, as stipulated by the Fire Services Act 1988. These buildings are typically those with higher fire risks due to their size, purpose, or number of occupants. Click here for more information.​

How do I apply or renew my Fire Certificate (FC)?

• You may apply or renew your FCs in Bomba's official website.  ​

How often do I have to renew my Fire Certificate (FC)?

• You will have to renew it annually.​
